WSMGS Board

The governing body of the WSMGS is the Board of Directors. Five members – President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Historian – are elected for two-year terms at the Annual Membership Meeting in odd-numbered years. The Newsletter Editor is appointed by the President. The President normally serves as the RMFMS State Director but may be replaced with another WSMGS Board member by a majority vote of the WSMGS Board and with the approval of the RMFMS. Meetings

The WSMGS Board meets quarterly (usually in January, April, July, and October) with additional meetings conducted as necessary. Meetings are conducted electronically via email or video conferencing when appropriate. WSMGS Board reports and notices are published in our newsletter, the Jade State News.

Visitors are welcome to participate in any meeting, whether quarterly, special, or annual meetings, but will not have voting priviledges and must be recognized by the presiding member of the WSMGS Board in order to provide input during the meeting.
